We have a fair few coffee lovers at DI, all of whom have the Jericho Coffee Traders coffee subscription on their Christmas list. Choose your coffee, and (crucially) choose your grind, so it’s perfect for everyone, from coffee nerds with AeroPresses to classic coffephiles with cafetières. Or if you like surprises, let the team pick your coffee so you get to try different beans each month, including some of their small runs.
You can also buy single bags of coffee, which can be sent in the post or you can pick them up. They sell coffee equipment too, and the DI consensus is indeed in favour of the AeroPress*! (How could you not love a coffee maker from the inventor of the Aerobie frisbee ring?)
If you want to test the beans first, pop in in person - to the JCT cafe on Oxford’s High Street, or to see the beans being roasted head to their Roastery in Osney Mead industrial estate. There you can ask technical questions and eat cake, and of course sample the coffees. Worth keeping on your radar when you’re out Christmas shopping and need a break...
