After a Covid-enforced virtual version last year, the Oxford Christmas Market returns to Broad Street with a bang for 2021, running from tomorrow (December 9th) through to the 19th.
With dozens of stalls featuring all manner of unique gifts, luxury foods and liqueurs, plus hot food stalls (and plenty of gluhwein, of course!), the market is an ideal option if you want to get all your Christmas shopping done in one go - with the added bonus of being in the fresh air.
For those in need of some inspiration with their gift-giving, the market also provides the opportunity to discover crafts from all over the world, with highlights this year including Belgian chocolate, German decorations and Bolivian knitwear. There's also plenty of representation from closer to home, with jewellery, sculptures and candles among the Oxfordshire-produced treasures.
And if you want to heighten the festive spirits even more while you shop, head to the market this Saturday (11th December) at 3pm, when the talented kids at Stagecoach Oxford will be serenading shoppers with Christmas carols and seasonal songs.
