Oxford Pub Crawls

Oxford's pubs are almost as renowned as its colleges. Many will have heard of the Eagle and Child, home of the Inklings, or the Turf Tavern, famous for being the hang-out of the cast of Harry Potter, and where Bill Clinton infamously "did not inhale" during an evening of carousing at the pub.

Above is a full map containing all our chosen destinations - brave crawlers could attempt making their way from the Rose and Crown in Jericho to the Magdalen Arms in Cowley, picking their favourite stops in between, but we recommend choosing one of Jericho, the City Centre, the Cowley Road area, or Headington to avoid doing more walking than drinking! These maps are printable so you can take them with you on your way around Oxford, and cross off the pubs as you go. If you want to add another element to your crawl, take a look at the rules of Pub Golf! Disclaimer: no actual golfing skills required...

If going to loads of pubs in one night isn't your idea of fun, we've also compiled lists of pubs linked by theme, so you can spend some time discovering new places to have a pint - just not all in one go! If we haven't given you enough choice already, you can see our full bars and pubs listings here.
