This innovative theatre/dance crossover takes an upbeat and positive tone while dealing with a serious subject - surviving domestic abuse. The show features a cast of seven women, made up of a mix of professionals and non-performers, all of whom play the story's central character Beverly, who discusses her experience of domestic violence while throwing a high-energy party. Smack That (A Conversation) is a celebration of resilience, and centres the voices of domestic abuse survivors - the show was developed by Rhiannon Faith following her work with the organisation Safer Places.

Smack That (A Conversation) is suitable for audience members aged 16+. The performance runs for 80mins, with no interval.
