Screening as part of Refugee Week, Female Voice is a collection of short films focusing on the lives of refugees, whose displacement is a result of the eight year Syrian Civil War. Six female filmmakers share their experience of having to leave their war-torn home, travelling to neighbouring countries (Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey). These films are presented by the Scottish Documentary Instute and are in collaboration with the British Council and Bidayyat. The evening itself is hosted by Refugee Support Network and KAMA Oxford (who will be providing Syrian cuisine alongside the films).
