It’s time to get buzzy at St Frideswide Church this Saturday afternoon with the West Oxford Bee Festival, held in partnership with Oxford Friends of the Earth. There will be plant stalls filled with bee-friendly flora and information for those interested in protecting bees; demonstrations, talks and eco walks; a child-friendly bee trail competition; a chance to look in the church; and food and drink stalls. There’s also a fantastic selection of raffle prizes including a grow-your-own chillies kit, a meal for two at The Porterhouse and a professional massage. The organisers are still looking for plant donations so bring along your spare seedlings for a good cause. Help save the humble bumble - don’t bee late!
