What more could you want during the Summer holidays then free ping pong? Ping! Oxford have set up a Ping Pong Parlour at the Oxford University Rugby Club Pavilion, weekdays until 25th August. This is open 11am to 6pm, comes with all the equipment you need to play and is free. So just turn up and play some ping pong! You can even take on their Ping! bot to see how many returns you can make in one minute. As well as this from Monday 21st to Friday 25th there will be free table tennis coaching which will be taking place at the parlour between 11am and 2pm. This is open to all ages.
They also have lined up a screening on the 22nd of Ping Pong, Never Too Old For Gold, a documentary following a group of pensioners as they compete in the over-80s World Table Tennis Championship. And as well as their Ping Pong Parlour, Ping! Oxford have tables across Oxford including at The Big Society, John Radcliffe Hospital and in Florence Park.
