On Thursday 1st February, you can test your knowledge at Waterstones' Beastly Quiz, which runs from 7-8pm. Tickets are £5 per person, and there will be sweets, Waterstones' own take on Butterbeer, and a costume competition. The magical animal theme continues at Blackwell's, whose quiz challenges competitors on the Fantastic Beasts of the wizarding world. Blackwell's quiz also runs on 1st Feb, from 7.30-9pm, and tickets are £5.

For older children, there's The Story Museum's Harry Potter Junior Quiz, taking place on Sunday 4th February. This event is suitable for children aged 8-14 (please note that children of 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult). Running from 3-4.30pm, this event costs £5 to attend, and covers a full range of Potterish trivia. There are many other Harry Potter Day events taking place at The Story Museum throughout the day, so why not brush up on your Quidditch or join an improvised adventure while you're there?
