Marmalade

Oxford's very own social enterprise un-conference, fringe to the Skoll World Forum.
The Old Fire Station, 40 George Street, Oxford OX1 2AQ, Tue 9 April - Fri 12 April 2019

Marmalade returns for another year with a brilliant collection of free workshops and talks held alongside the Skoll World Forum. This year's 'un-conference' is under the umbrella of themes of relationships, power and place, with a diverse four-day programme looking at such topics as prison reform, improving the lives of young people, and tackling social isolation. There will also be evening entertainment alongside these events including Oxford's own Hammer & Tongue as well as an evening of stand-up comedy.

There will be activities running throughout the four days, including a public living room, offering a chat'n'charge station, a curiosity booth and talking tables in the café. Most of the events are free and you can drop in and out of Marmalade, though pre-registration is recommended. This amazing Oxford institute exists to help make the world a better place, why not get involved and find out what you can do?
