Think Human Festival 2018

Oxford Brookes' festival exploring all things human

Being human is a complicated business, but Oxford Brookes' Think Human festival aims to unpick it with a range of workshops, lectures, exhibitions and performances, all focusing on different aspects of life and society. There are talks on protest songs and intersectional Oxford, exhibitions of craft-activism, panels on working-class fiction, poetry readings, murder mysteries and more. There are also some fringe events, including a 'human library', where you can 'borrow' an academic and ask them questions about their research!

Many of the Think Human events take place at Oxford Brookes University's Headington Campus, while others are at various places around the city, including the Ashmolean Museum, the Old Fire Station, and the East Oxford Community Centre. Most events are available for people of all ages, and all are free to attend, although booking is necessary. When booking, you have the option to specify any accessibility requirements that would help you attend.
