A feast of music and rhyme with an owl, a pussy cat and a very strange clock
Jacqueline Du Pré Music Building, St Hilda's College, Cowley Place, Oxford OX4 1DY, Sun 10 June 2018
The Jacqueline Du Pré Music Building is known for hosting a great programme of events aimed at introducing children to the arts, including regular cushion concerts and family proms. Join the RedCat Trio and accompanying poet for an exciting afternoon of music and rhyme, and meet an owl, a pussy cat, and a very strange clock! New music and old favourites will be performed on clarinet, lupophon, oboe, flute, violin and piano by Christopher Redgate, Celia Redgate and Catriona Scott, with poetry recited by Andrew Bevan.
Please note, under 5s are unable to sit in the Gallery Level.
This concert is supported by the Patsy Wood Trust, commemorating environmentalist, tree-planter and seamstress Patsy Wood, and her love of music. The trust has made grants to a wonderful variety of environmental, humanitarian and cultural charities in Oxford and beyond.
