Diwali celebrates the victory of good over evil, and lamps and candles are lit as a sign of celebration and hope. This celebratory Saturday Science Club will explore light, dark and shadow by creating shadow puppets to tell traditional stories. Children will investigate the properties of everyday materials and predict how they will behave. Participants will create a scented candle to take home in honour of this special festival.
