Irregular Folks' Christmas Special is here again!
Cosmo Sheldrake is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist from London. Rich textures weave an array of genres together creating a sound so atmospheric you'll find this a truly genre defying, bright, fresh and other worldly sonic experience. Old sounds dance with brand new technology. It's hectic, it's contemplative, it's like travelling all round the world, out to space, into your dreams and back again.
Sephine Llo goes out there adventuring deep beyond the norm inventing her own unique sound. She started out in traditional classic music, but that's where all tradition ends. Her music is packed full of experiments with alternative sound sources including both day-to-day objects and lesser-known instruments such as the kora and sanxian. This is combined with her unconventional songwriting style and a unique vocal performance.
And of course! This Christmas tinged adventure comes with all the trimmings, including mulled wine, mince pies and a good deal of twinkly stuff. Even if Christmas isn't your thing the strength of the incredible music this evening will transport you to a whole new place of your own!
