We at Daily Info love a BBQ and so are very excited at the prospect of the first ever Oxfordshire Barbecue Festival. Run by Yummy Events, who are behind the annual Oxfordshire Chilli Festival, the festival takes over Market Square in Abingdon, bringing with it BBQ food from around the globe.

The festival atmosphere will be ramped up by live music throughout the day, including from Tom Hingley and the Kar-pets, and there will also be an artisan food market, allowing the event to meet all your culinary needs. Is there a better way to kick-start the annual BBQ season?
