Charity festival set in a 16th Century pub in the South Oxfordshire village of Roke.
Home Sweet Home, Roke, Wallingford, OXON, OX10 6JD, Fri 24 May - Sun 26 May 2019
Rokefest combines wall-to-wall music with an impressive selection of real ales on tap and great pub food, all set in a 16th century pub in the South Oxfordshire village of Roke, near Benson (OX10 6JD). The festival has been running for 15 years and draws a loyal following.
Rokefest is hosted annually by The Home Sweet Home in Roke on the last bank holiday in May. The garden will be fully covered by a marquee, so no need to bring your wellies! BBQ food will also be available throughout the weekend; and there will be a hog roast at 7pm on Saturday.
The festival is proud to have supported both local and national charities. This year is no exception as bands will once again give their time and energy for free in aid of Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) who raise much-needed funds to help people live with the disease. Entrance is free, but they ask for a donation towards a limited edition wristband! You will also be able to purchase a branded 'eco pint cup' with all proceeds going to MNDA and at the same time helping the environment too!
