Oxford Festival of Nature

An opportunity to explore the unusual and even the most common creatures and plants that live in and around the city. Dozens of events across two weeks will take place including our main event, the Wild Fair at the Museum of Natural History on Saturday 1 June.

There's something for everyone at this year's Oxford Festival of Nature. Running for two weeks at the Museum of Natural History, the Festival's events include kids' activities such as drawing, storytelling, and show and tell, as well as performances like What Killed the Dinosaurs: A Science Musical. There's also plenty for adults, including stand-up comedy, fascinating scientific lectures, and a closer look at the museum's collections.

The Festival of Nature doesn't just take place at the Museum. You can head out around the city on a Swift Walk, float along the river on the Thames Wildlife Cruise, and even go on a Bat Walk at Farmoor Nature Reserve.

The events run at various times, and at a range of prices, including several free sessions. Full details of the events are on the Oxford Festival of Nature website.
