Every year, residents of Woodstock come together to put on a free, volunteer-run, weekend-long party, showcasing the best of local music talent and providing an accessible day out for families from all over the county. This year it’s a double celebration, marking the 15th Woodstock Live for the town, but also the 50th year since the original stateside Woodstock Festival that made musical history. The organisers are embracing this retro throwback, giving this year’s festival a Flower Power theme, so revellers are encouraged to dress accordingly!
The line up across the two-day extravaganza will feature familiar faces from across the Oxfordshire scene, covering a range of genres, from the upbeat indie of Little Brother Eli to the impressive energy of Ben Holder’s Gypsy Jazz Trio. Soak up the atmosphere and enjoy delicious food and drink, safe in the knowledge that your purchases ensure the festival can remain free to attend.
