Celebrate the diversity and richness of the natural world with community crafts, stalls and live entertainment, in support of wildlife conservation work
Little Park, Cornbury, off the B4022 Charlbury to Witney Rd, OX7 3EW, Sun 1 September 2019
The annual Wychwood Forest Fair celebrates the diversity and richness of the natural world and the working and leisure activities of people living within the bounds of the old Royal Hunting Forest of Wychwood, with funds raised going to support the local wildlife and landscape conservation work of the Wychwood Project.
The fair features local produce, arts and crafts, conservation groups and trade stands, a children's fun fair, a family dog show, Morris dancing and much more. Try your hand at a range of rural crafts or browse the Wychwood Project second-hand book stall. There will also be local food suppliers, lots of refreshments, locally produced ice cream and a beer tent selling beer from the local Wychwood Brewery.
The Fair tries to avoid much of the commercialisation of so many modern country shows, emphasising local environmental activities, revived rural skills and locally produced food.
