There's few things more satisfying than tucking into a homemade pastry, or the smell of fresh bread wafting through the kitchen, but as a vegan, baking can sometimes be complicated. Fortunately, Adrian Smith, a head chef for CH&CO catering, is here to help with, this great vegan baking workshop. Learn how to replace ingredients with plant-based alternatives, without losing out on the quality of the end product - Adrian's vegan pastry is still deliciously rich and flaky. The workshop will also explore how to use tofu as a base for a moreish vegan quiche.
For those with a sweet tooth, Adrian will run you through an easy, tasty recipe for vegan muffins, which you can customise with your own combination of seeds, nuts and berries, and there'll be plenty of other useful vegan cooking tips and tricks as well. All recipes will be available to take away, and you can also head to the Water Tank Café for lunch, where one of Adrian's dishes will be served, and included in the ticket price.
