A Night of Prohibition Decadence

One the first Saturday of every month, The Mad Hatter becomes a speakeasy
The Mad Hatter, 43 Iffley Road, Oxford OX4 1EA, Sat 7 March - Sat 1 August 2020

If ever there were a perfect venue for a Prohibition-themed party, it’s surely The Mad Hatter, where visitors are required to answer a riddle to get in (although we are assured that none of the alcohol on offer has been bootlegged!). On the first Saturday of every month, they embrace the speakeasy-esque feel of the bar, with live jazz and a special menu for the night, promising eccentric twists on classic 1920s cocktails. The bar staff will all be dressed up, and guests are warmly encouraged to do the same, so why not dig out your flapper dress and get practising your Charleston?
