Following the success of their Mini-Festival last year, Waterperry Opera Festival returns for a ten-day musical extravaganza, with a jam-packed programme offering something for everyone.

To celebrate, we're delighted to be giving away a family ticket for Hansel and Gretel on a date of your choice, worth £90! To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the questions below.

This version of Hansel and Gretel (performed on 19th, 20th and 21st August) sees the well-loved fairytale transformed into a relaxed, immersive and family-friendly production. Waterperry Opera promise to captivate all who attend with vivid storytelling and magical music-making. Sign Language will be integrated into the staging for all performances. Prior to the shows, there will be a free signed singing, and props-making workshop, exploring themes and characters from the opera.

The production is one of several family-friendly features of the programme which also includes Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and the Festival's flagship production, Donizetti's The Elixir of Love. There will also be talks, masterclasses, showcases from Waterperry's Young Artists, and a collaboration with Oxford Lieder, creating a sense of magic and discovery within the stunning setting of Waterperry Gardens.
