Creation Theatre Half Term Workshops

This October half term we have a programme of one day workshops – young people can join us for a single day or the full week. There are two age groups: 7-11 years (primary) and 11-16 years (secondary). We have some bursary places available for those in receipt of Universal Credit. If other extenuating circumstances apply then we are happy to consider them too.

Theatre Design Workshop for ages 11-16

A hands on, creative workshop where you'll learn how every element of design - costume, lighting, set, props and make-up - help bring a show to life.

Puppets and Puppetry Workshop for ages 7-11

Introduction to stage combat workshop for ages 11-16

Ever wondered how they stage those epic fight scenes in film and theatre? This is your chance to find out. You’ll learn the secrets of safe, thrilling, and believable stage combat.

Make a film in a day, for ages 7-11

You’ll spend the day developing storyboards and scripts before shooting your short film at the end.

Make a Play in a Day: Halloween Spectacular, ages 7-11 and 11-16

Choose from a selection of spooky stories and spend the day developing your characters and rehearsing your play, the day ends with a spectacular performance for family and friends.
