New Theatre, Feb 6 - 11, 2006

I went to see Grease in Plymouth on the 6th October and omg it was brilliant! The whole cast were amazing! Sandy (Hayley Evetts) and Danny (Jarrod Carland) were brill and I loved Stuart Ramsay and Deborah Hayward! Loved it! 10/10

I saw Grease in Brighton and loved Gavin Lee Rees. I thought his song was by far the best one. The song is my favourite anyway but he topped it off with a brilliant performance. I too am upset that there is no more info on him. Welldone on such a good performance!!

Oh my god. I saw Grease last night in Grimsby. What can I say. I'm in love.
A few friends and a teacher from my school went behind the scenes prior to the show, and wow. All the cast are friendly. All the people who work there are super. It was a great night all round.

Props to Gavin Lee Rees and Stuart Ramsay. (I think I'm in love) =)

Gavin Lee Rees (Doody) - What can I say but that he was amazing. I'm just sad to find I can't find more info on him. All the way through the performance last night in Edinburgh [where this production is now on tour - ed.] he looked like he was having a great time and loving every moment of it. He didn't look like he was concentrating at all... he just looked a natural. He played the part of a nervous school boy down to a tee. I'll be watching for the next show he'll be in. The whole show was great and everyone in it, I just wanted to give credit to "Doody".

The stuff that musicals should be made of. Hammed-up acting, outstanding choreography, dazzling lights, brash band and melting vocal harmonies. Despite very evident nods towards the legendary Travolta/Newton-John performance, this production holds its own with surprising twists on the established theme. Fantastic.
Oh, and "Greased Lightning". Wow.

Grease: what can I say? It was the word of last night in Oxford.
The cast was really amazing. Danny (Paul Manuel) played the part spot-on and the same with Sandy (Hayley Evetts).

Stuart Ramsay (Rum Tum Tugger in Cats) returns to Oxford to play the the part of Kenickie, Danny's best mate. Also back in Oxford is Angus MacMillan (Schlomo Metzenbaum in FAME last year). He gave an outstanding perfomance as Roger.

Deborah Hayward (Rizzo) even made me have a tear in my eye with her song 'Worse Things I Can Do'. I also loved Gavin Lee Rees' (Doody) song 'Magic Changes' with his flashing guitar.
