With roles in such hits as Shakespeare in Love and Four Weddings and a Funereal, as well as a wealth of theatre credits to his name, Simon Callow could be considered a titan of the British arts scene. And this status has allowed him to make his one-man version of A Christmas Carol an annual fixture on the boards. And now the show migrates to the big screen, with Callow taking on the part of Ebeneezer Scrooge, as well as the narrator, the Ghosts and the numerous other parts of the story.

On a side note the actor has played Dickens six times (including twice on Doctor Who).
