I have loved The Red Balloon since I first saw it in Paris in 1957. But my love for that little Lamarisse jewel must be shared with Le Crin Blanc, another Lamarisse masterpiece. Finally after more than fifty years, I have acquired both of these outstanding shorts on 16mm film. Showing these fine films on the "big screen" gives me the joy of introducing to kids of all ages these celluloid treasures.
