Watching this movie was more painfully boring than watching paint dry and you have to credit paint with the fact that as non eventful as it is at least it dries quicker than this long diatribe of a movie. Benjamin Button, played by Pitt, is born at a physical and mental age of 80 and goes through his mundane life, giving us every minute detail of his everyday life, getting physically younger with the passing of time until his death 80 years later as an infant, whilst we sit suddenly aware that we're getting painfully older and wasting precious time just by being there when we should have all gone to watch something worthwhile.
The movie further adds insult to injury by beginning and ending in the style of Titanic - old lady recounting her life tale to an enthusiastic audience - so last decade and furthermore there are huge chunks of echoes of the movie Forrest Gump minus all the quirkiness and good feeling!
Nothing of value or the slightest hint of interest happens but if you derive heavenly pleasure just from watching Pitt and his fine form then this is the movie for you.
