Moderately funny movie based on popular eighties tv show in which cops with an apparently youthful appearance have to go undercover as high school kids to expose the dealers of a dangerous drug. The movie's big joke is that neither of the two heroes (Channing Tatum and Johah Hill) looks remotely young enough to be in high school (and of course they're not - Tatum is 32, Hill is 28). The second big joke is that they accidentally mix up their fake IDs so that Tatum is put in with the brainy nerds and Hill with the jocks.
It is quite charming in its essential warmth and it does have some very funny lines - I particularly liked Tatum blaming the changed ethos in high school since his own high school days (when apparently it was OK to just punch people in the face when they said stuff you didn't like) on Glee. Worth a spin if you haven't spent all your money watching blockbusters in 3D.
