Cult movie probably, a vehicle for extreme violence definately. Its a bizarre mix of Blue Velvet and Kill Bill where effect takes precedence over dialogue.

The extra-extremely violent scene (using the richter scale, its a 10 to the many other 8's!) somehow manages to pull the movie together. I felt instead of being shocked and sickened, a sort of triumphal moral release, because a real sadistic baddy had got his comeuppance.

Not for the faint hearted but it is a genuinely different style of movie. Now where's the tel. no. for Vigilantes Anonymous?
