Small, partly covered external courtyard at rear. The menu covers the sorts of things you'd expect, done well, and gluten-free and vegan items (yes, there's more than one vegan option!) are marked clearly. Their Blue Room is available to hire, and hosts many workshops, gigs and shows. It's upstairs, and has its own bar with bartender. Food can be provided at a time of your choosing.

Apart from a brief hiatus when it was called something else, The Standard has been serving curries to Oxford restaurants since 1972, and is much beloved by student groups, for rowing club dinners and the like. It's fairly Standard (!) Indian restaurant fare, a little pricey, but with a good vegetarian selection.
