A sort of cross between Pret a Manger (indeed itsu was founded by the man behind Pret) and Wagamama - healthy, Asian-inspired hot food and snacks. Itsu is a well-established brand in London, and this is the first store outside the capital. Downloadable pdfs online list allergens and count the calories of each menu item.

Caribbean takeaway with all meals priced at £6.50 and served with salad and coleslaw. Carribean food is famous for its tasty, spicy flavours that you will love and end up wanting more. All their meals are served with generous servings of either plain rice or rice and peas. Or you can have yam (potato-like root vegetable) with green banana (plantain) and lightly fried dumpling. Your chef, Wayne is from Jamaica and has been a chef making real Jamaican food for people in Oxford for many years, so you can be sure of its authenticity!

Phoenix-like the name Jamal's has reappeared on the front of this restaurant after a brief spell away. Jamal's is a perennial favourite with students particularly for celebratory meals and crew dates.

In the beginning James and Lizzie served coffee on the Magdalen Bridge in Oxford, and later in the Radcliffe Camera Square. Soon after came farmer’s markets, college balls and events. Being a part of the Oxford community was, and still is, a huge part of the Jericho business. When the opportunity arose to move into a pop-up café off of Oxford High Street, James and Lizzie purchased their own roaster to enable them to roast their own coffee beans for the café. Now, Jericho Coffee Traders proudly serves customers from their flagship espresso bar on Oxford’s high street.

Karma, a traditional Indian & Bangladeshi restaurant located in Cowley, offers a combination of fine authentic cuisine, simple yet beautiful interior, attentive and friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, whether it be for a small family meal or a large group booking.

Kazbar has several attractive features, including its sangria, tasty tapas (regular lunchtime '1 drink & a couple of tapas' offers), Moroccan/Spanish feel, guitar on a string weighing the door closed, amazing loos & lovely staff. Spacious, busy venue serving a good range of real ales, catering mainly for the Oxford student market. Multi-level, small separate bars (one coffee area). Some comfy sofas; walls adorned with photos of the pub's favourite visitors and other interesting paraphernalia. Unintentional eavesdropping on study-related conversation is inevitable.

Set on a beautiful village green you can either stay in a room above the inn, which are cosy and full of charm or choose a quieter courtyard room (set back from the inn) which have a hint more luxury and are more spacious. We always try to use as much free-range, organic and local produce as we possibly can when making our dishes. Our beef, which is Aberdeen Angus, is sourced locally from the family farm in Fifield. Our fish is delivered daily from Cornwall and all our smoked food is from Upton Smokery in Burford.
