Vanished Oxford

If you care to wallow in nostalgia, there are many things it is sad to have lost in Oxford. Dorothy Hartley, in her splendid book Food in England recommends going to eat Marrow Bones at the Mitre, and we seriously doubt that's on the menu these days. But of course many of the changes really have been advances, and the city looks to its future with plans to ban all non-electric vehicles, and (occasionally) crazy drawings of a special cyclist and pedestrian road underground in Broad Street...
