Volunteer-run children's centre that has reopened (Jan 2018) as an independent charity following the council's complete removal of funding for children's centres in 2016. Now open Mon-Fri mornings for Stay and Play, Well Baby Clinics, Sling Library, Story times and other sessions especially aimed at parents and children aged 0-5. Some Saturday sessions, including Saturdads. For full listings join their facebook group.

The Centre is also available to hire. Choose from the Garden Room or the Large Room, or both. Kitchen included. Toys can also be included, and must be cleared away at the end of the session. Charges vary for catchment and non-catchment residents, and are higher for commercial hires, but are very reasonable per hour.
