Small but very well stocked independent nursery, in the grounds of a large house near Kidlington. The site is shady and criss-crossed with paths, almost all of which are suitable for buggies (and plant trolleys). There's an outdoor cafe with free tea and coffee, and a good selection of homemade cakes. Wander for inspiration, send the kids out to follow a themed trail, and enjoy the variety of plants available. There aren't a lot of each plant, but there are a lot of different varieties. Extras include compost, pots, cut flowers, and ever-changing specials such as huge oak barrels or railway sleepers. Loyalty card available (gets you free plants, of course), and the website also has useful advice about planting, watering and plant care.
