The organiser says:
TLC takes the story of Troilus and Cressida – as mediated by Boccaccio, Benoit, Chaucer, Henryson and Shakespeare – and moves it into an immersive, present-day group therapy ‘workshop’. Young characters reveal their own experiences of betrayal and even ‘moral leprosy’ which mirror this iconic love story, set amidst the turning tides of the Trojan War.
The show has had a run of six performances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer as well as three performances in Cambridge. Audiences and critics have unanimously expressed profound appreciation for the play and its “mesmerising” execution by fifteen young performers.
