Owned and managed by English Heritage, the site has quite a lot of extant masonry so you can see how the hall was laid out. The access is open all the time, with no entry fees, and is well worth visiting. Good for walking, running around, hide and seek, frisbee, and for children who don't like long walks it is an excellent outdoor destination.
