Orphaned brothers have magical adventures in Venice.

A fun film - very well acted by the younger actors, but there could have been improvement with the adult characters - except Scipio's father, who was played wonderfully. Rollo Weeks was a stellar Scipio, not to mention utterly delicious to look at. A great film, not perfect, but always enjoyable to watch. :)

The younger actors are fantastic, especially Rollo Weeks and Andrew Johnson. I disliked the simplicity of the adult characters- Alexi as Barbarossa was absolutely terrible. The minor plot points (especially Scipio's problems with his father) were just enough to intrigue me, and I wish they had been investigated more. Overall, incredible production. Worth watching multiple times.
