Grazed since time immemorial by the Wolvercote Commoners' animals, this SSSI is an interesting detour at the Godstow/Wolvercote end of a Port Meadow Walk. Leave the Meadow and turn right up Godstow Road, cross the river (if neccessary) railway & canal bridges, continue down the road and the Common is on your right. At the far end you will find Wolvercote Green and the very agreeable Plough Inn for a refreshing post or mid-prandial or two. Opening hours: Public Access. | ||
