Great restaurant and bigger than sister Atomic Burger! Going into the restaurant's like stepping back into the 80's and 90's with decor from classic film and TV shows - likes of The Simpsons, Star Wars etc. Food was tasty and hot - enjoyed Atomic Pizza burger - even the Peanut Butter and Chocolate milkshake is yummy. Quick service, friendly staff and not too expensive. Would go back! 10/10
Simon A (DI User), 17/12/11 Me and some friends went for a meal, the pizzas are great but I thought I'd try a burger which was pretty average. However, one of us had the Campfire S'mores (flame your own marshmallows at your table), very disappointing! £5.45 for 2 rectangle digestive biscuits each with 2 small pieces of chocolate on and a single marshmallow on each - there wasn't much marshmallow flaming that night! But if you're looking for a decent pizza then I would recommend it and if they change the desserts menu then I'll give it another go. Smooch (Unverified), 05/12/11 I have to agree with some of the other reviews here. The food was great, but we waited over 45 minutes for 3 pizzas to come. I'd taken my 4-year-old for the fun of the decor, but it's no fun, especially for a child, to have to wait that long. On the plus side, the gents is wallpapered with semi-naked ladies. Dr (Unverified), 25/11/11 Enjoyed visits to Atomic Burger in the past. A little disappointed with the service at Atomic Pizza. The place was not full when the two of us ordered (plenty of empty tables) but still burgers and pizzas took 30-40 minutes to arrive after ordering. I am hoping there are just some issues with running a bigger show than Atomic Burger and I hope they will be able to fix them soon. But - food pretty darn tasty. tim77 (Unverified), 19/11/11 Atomic Pizza is OUT OF THIS WORLD - same fabulous service and fantastic food as you get at Atomic Burger - they really have excelled in both!! Superb pizza, proper thin and crispy like it should be with fantastic toppings - mine had onion rings on it - YUM, top marks!! My only criticism is it's very hot in there, uncomfortably so... But that cannot take away from the food - can't wait to go back and try another delicious pizza :-) well impressed (Unverified), 11/11/11 Really disappointing. Welcome is friendly but took an hour to get the food out which was, putting it at its highest, average. The place wasn't very full (it was mid week and early on in the evening). The quality of the food just isn't there, either in the buns for the burgers or in the toppings and sauces on the pizzas. Fun decor, and interesting retro film/cartoon clips on the big screen are nice touches. If this place was in London it wouldn't last 6 months. Won't be hurrying back. Mr Dibnah (Unverified), 06/11/11 Well the guys really have transformed this place into a real kids' den of toys and comics. The Simpsons waiting in the entrance really set the tone - love it! The menu includes all sort of fascinating pizzas - some perhaps more appetising than others but definitely original! I love the clever naming of food - starters including the Captain Caveman's Buffalo Wings and the Dick Dastardly's Corn Dog. This review is written on the basis of the preview evening so I got to taste quite a lot of different pizzas. I think my favourite was the Danger Mouse (provolone, blue cheese, parmesan, mozzarella and a tomato base), closely followed by the Cheech & Chong (chilli and nachos on a pizza). The Godzilla sauce is definitely not for the faint hearted! The food and atmosphere at Atomic Pizza build really well on the Atomic Burger brand and are original and innovative and make for a fun evening. While this is not exactly haute-cuisine I was pleased to see that the ingredients are still top quality and food appears to be prepared and cooked with all the care and attention I had grown to enjoy and expect at Fratellis, the predecessor to Atomic Pizza. Atomic Pizza will also do burgers, just as in the sister restaurant up the road, Atomic Burger. I guess I'll be back soon so will write a proper review then. Tony Brett (Unverified), 30/09/11 The best pizza in Cowley! Definitely the place to be! Best wishes... can't wait to beat the beast and be on wall of fame... hope you guys know what i'm talking about.
