I love LB's. The proprietors are indeed very friendly. The mousaka bizeit is delicious, as are the warak enab. I recommend that you ask for one of their dips on the side with the warak enab - think hummus or that incredible broad bean thing. The halloumi sandwich is also fantastic. Pure halloumi mingles with thyme and tomato in flatbread that's grilled to perfection. I would come here every day if that weren't impractical.
Chloe (Unverified), 30/07/08 One of Daily Info's favourite take-aways. On entering LB's you face a choice between dozens of different kinds of Lebanese delicacies. It's like a sweet shop for grown ups. We particularly like the exquisite, tender lamb chawarma wraps and the aromatic, lemony chicken wings. The mauhamara wrap (spicy red pepper, pomegranate and nuts) is exciting and tasty too. More conservative tastes can be satisfied by the deep-fried lamb lozenges (kibbeh). You can also get orange juice squeezed while you wait and if you smile nicely and look hungry enough they may just give you one of their vast range of delectable baklava to try.
