I've been using them for years and highly recommend them...
Food is always delicious, service is polite and delivery is fast.

Food is overly greasy and bland in comparison to the curries elsewhere, the food seems to be over cooked, bread is hard and service without a smile seems to be the norm.

We live very close to Nawabi, and are regular customers - but not only because we are close! Their Tandoori Chicken Masala is fantastic, so are the garlic naan - but we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. Having grown up in Kenya eating authentic Indian food for most celebrations, I must say this place lives up to all expectations. If we go out to eat in a restaurant we usually avoid Indian, because it rarely lives up to Nawabi. Add to the excellent food friendly staff, short waiting times, and regular freebie extras added to our order and I couldn't recommend it more!

Having used the Nawabi for many years, I can say that the quality of the food has always been first class and the friendly staff very helpful. Last night's meal was as good as ever. Recommended!

We count ourselves very lucky to have the Nawabi as our nearest take-away curry house. My husband spent several years in Bradford and was incredibly spoilt for good quality, reasonably priced curries. Consequently, any curry he has in Oxford usually compares unfavourably, either because it has too much ghee in it or is too expensive or just tastes artificially hot. However, he has never had cause to moan about the food we order from the Nawabi (on average once or twice a month) as it is very tasty, not too greasy, usually just under £15 (poppadoms, two main courses, rice, keema naan) and leaves us feeling pleasantly full/sometimes over-full when we have over-ambitiously ordered a side-dish as well. There is some variation in the amount of chilli: some days it is mild-to-medium, other days very hot: there is definitely a different chef on sometimes. We quite like the variation but if you are fussy about how much chilli-age you like, it is probably worth clarifying this when you order!
