Used to come down here in the late 90's when it was just known as The Hobgoblin, and whilst I still believe it is still part of the Wychwood brewery-linked chain, it now has a more tourist friendly ye olde pub name.

The interior never changes much with its seating area at the front giving way to a narrow bar area and slightly dingy back seating area complete with games machines. Service is friendly and the clientele is a good mix of people from students to people waiting for buses at the near-by stops. Seating is limited meaning that it often seems busier than it really is.
Pretty average overall but worth a quick drink now and again.
