The Daily Information Sheet is printed 3 times a week in term time and weekly in the vac. It's displayed at over 450 public sites in Oxford. It contains lots of What's On listings, cartoons, reviews and all the paid ads from the website.

The Weekly Pin-up - a summary of Oxford event listings for the coming week. You can download it by clicking on the images below, or we can email it to you free of charge every Friday - just email us at pinup@dailyinfo.co.uk with "Single Pin-up" or "Double Pin-up" in the subject header. While the pin-up is useful and decorative, it's only put together once a week from the listings we have at the time. As new listings appear on the site all the time, you'll get the most up-to-date idea of what's on in Oxford from our Events pages or from the printed sheet (at a pub or college near you!)

Daily Info's Year Planner Oct 2007 - Dec 2008

It has days you can write on and all the major holidays and Oxford events marked on it, including term dates for both Universities.

You can download it here, or we can send you a beautiful shiny A2 copy anywhere within Oxfordshire - free! Just email us at planner@dailyinfo.co.uk with your name and address and we'll put one in the post to you free of charge.

We have to fold them to get them in the envelopes, so if you'd like a pristine one, you could always drop by our offices (Unit 5, Standingford House, 26 Cave Street, at the South Park end of St Clements) and pick up a rolled-up one instead.

A4 list of useful local and national phone numbers - there's a standard version and also an edition with Central Oxford Map references.

 

What is a PDF?

PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It is designed to allow you to view the file exactly as it would appear on paper, and is a proprietory format of Adobe. Although it suffers from many minor glitches, it provides the exact, platform-independent reproduction of documents as well as small file sizes.

How do I view one?

You need to have Acrobat Reader on your machine, preferably version 4 or above. This is available free from Adobe: download it now by clicking here!

PROs...

• Possibly easier to understand than multiple web-pages.
• You can print the file out on your own printer.
• If you have Acrobat 4.0 or above, you can edit and crop the file and so e.g. produce your own personalized map, based upon ours.
• If it's the DI sheet you want to look at, you can see the printed version without having to leave your room.
  

AND CONS...

• Several of these files are c. 1 MB, so can take up to 2 minutes to download on a slow (ISDN type) connection.
• The Printed Sheet does not contain as much information as the equivalent Web-site pages (see the Home Page)
