Chains

All the usual suspects are represented. Most of these can be found around the commercial centre of town: Queen St, Cornmarket, and the two shopping centres (Westgate and Clarendon). The list includes Barratts, Sole Ltd, Ravel, Jones the Bootmaker, Ecco (New Inn Hall St), Bally, Faith, Bradleys and Russell and Bromley.

There is also a smaller shoe oasis in Temple Cowley, including Shoe Zone, Shoe City and Brantano.

Shoe Repair

Plenty of choice as long as you like Timpsons! There's at least one cobblers in the Covered Market, or try the wonderfully named Oxford Snob in Gloucester Green (722185). Further out of town there's Bill's Shoe Repairs, 91 Wilkins Rd, Cowley (775252).
