- OFS Studio, 40 George Street
- 'Loft', rehearsal room & dance studio is a flexible space with original wooden floorboards featuring a mirrored wall and ballet barre, sound system and separate seating area. The room is ideal for classes, workshops, rehearsals & auditions.
The Studio is also available for private hire, seating 169. It comes complete with projection screen, sound and lighting facilities and an in-house technician to assist on the day. Hire charges vary depending on the event. Catering & refreshments can be arranged.

- Garden Quadrangle Auditorium, St John's College
- Contact Jackie on 01865 277325. Capacity 192 (seated) This
includes wheelchairs, for which there is easy access. Refreshments can be
provided by the college if booked in advance. Generally the college suggests
that events should conclude by about 11pm, but this is definitely negotiable
within reason. Hirers are advised to inform those attending their event
that parking is not available in the college and may be difficult in its
environs. Cost is £380 per day or part thereof. You are strongly advised
to book as much as six months in advance if you wish to secure any particular
date, as the venue is almost constantly in use.
- Magdalen College Auditorium
- Contact the Home Bursar on 01865 276051. Capacity 160. Refreshments
will not be provided by the college, but hirers are welcome to organise
their own. Hiring is usually for the period from about 7.30pm to 11pm latest.
Charges vary according to the type of event, and start at £54 / hour. Wheelchair accessible.
- Newman Rooms, St Aldates
- Call 01865 276994. There are two rooms available: the Newman Room seats 300, and can be divided
into two rooms itself. Facilities include blackout blinds, screens and the possibility
of hiring a piano and organ. Refreshments can be provided by the hirer.
The Newman Room costs £300 per day and is wheelchair accessible. The Meeting Room seats 30 and costs £100
per day. Both rooms are available in the University vac. 9am - 11pm, but aren't hired out very much in term
time (although the administrators are open to negotiation).
- Oxford Union, Frewin Court
- Call 01865 241353, ask for the steward, who will be available Mon - Thu 11am - 1pm all year round,
plus Mon - Fri 6pm - 11pm in term time. Options include the Debating Chamber, capacity 350, and several smaller rooms
with capacities up to 100. All of these are available only when not required by the committee,
which boils down to very rarely in term time and much more so in vacation.
Times and prices vary likewise and will need to be checked individually
with the steward. Bar and catering facilities are available with all rooms. They have a moveable ramp which makes wheelchair
access possible for the ground floor rooms, of which the Debating Chamber is one.

The Ballroom has capacity for 220. For meetings the cost is £3500
per day, £2000
for half a day. An evening ball costs £1250 for room hire plus private dining at £35 per head. A PA system is available
at £175 per day. Music and decorations can be provided at extra charge. Entertainment stops at midnight, because of
bedrooms above.
The Lancaster Suite can accommodate 70 people
for a meeting or 60 for dinner, and costs £1000 per day, or £500 - £650
per half. The St John's & Worcester Rooms can hold 30 people theatre-style
or 20 in a boardroom format. Both cost £650 for a whole day, £325
for half. Interview rooms are also available. These are for 6 people maximum
and cost £200 for 10am-5pm. The Hotel also offers conference packages,
all-inclusive at £288 per head for 24 hours, £90 for daytime
only.
- Magdalen Road Church, east Oxford

- St Margaret's Institute, Polstead Road
- A range of rooms are available; a very small room suitable
for individual lessons, to medium sized rooms, approx 5 x5 m each, and a
hall with sprung floor 12 x 7.5m. There is also a kitchen available. Call

- St Michael's Church Halls, Summertown
- Situated at the corner of Banbury and Portland Roads, with on-site parking, there are two halls
available for hire: the Upper Hall, with a raised stage area (23m²), has an approximate area of 125m² and
seats 175 theatre-style, and the Lower Hall is approximately 90m², seating 120 theatre-style. Both Halls
have kitchens, the lower kitchen being fully equipped for food preparation. The Lower Hall now only has
very limited weekday availability. The Upper Hall has some availability on Tuesday
and Wednesday and for a large part of the day on Friday. There is still good weekend availability. To

- Oxford's stylish modern science museum is also available for event hire (business meetings, training days, breakfast clubs, etc.). - Town Hall, St Aldate's
- Contact Sue Scarrott 01865 252195. Rooms are hired by
the hour with a minimum 2 hour reservation and available Monday to Saturday from 9am to 10pm, and on Sundays from 10am
- 4pm. Special rates apply for civil weddings, conferences, social events and Sunday reservations. The Main Hall seats
500 on the ground floor and 242 in the balcony. The hourly rate is £150.
There are no kitchen facilities, but catering can be provided on request. The Assembly Room
and Old Library (capacity 200 and 120 respectively) are available at a fee of £92
per hour per room. Various meeting rooms are available at an hourly rate
of £33. These rates will be valid till March 2008.
Discounts are possible for over 6 hour reservations
and some organisations may qualify for concessionary discounts. All rooms are wheelchair accessible.

- West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Road (Oxford Rail station 5-10 min walk)
- Call 01865 245761. Purpose-built centre offering a range of
low-cost rooms for sports, courses, business and social meetings, and private
events. The sports/general-purpose hall (capacity 120) costs £22/hour for associate members and £33/hour otherwise. There is also a
large multi-purpose room (capacity 30, £11/hour members or £16.50/hour) and two seminar
rooms (capacity 11 & 12, £9/hour members or £13.50/hour). There is a café area (£11/hour members or £16.50/hour non-members) and if you wish to use the café area and the kitchen, it would cost £16.50/hour members or £22/hour non-members, all in. You can also hire the whole centre (£49.50/hour members, £66/hour non-members, max. cap of £340.) Badminton equipment can be hired at £5/hour. There is wheelchair access to all areas; hearing loops in

- North Oxford Community Centre, Summertown
- Call 01865 552295. Run by the North Oxford Association. The main hall seats about 100 and costs £15/hr. A smaller committee room, seating 25, is available for £8/hr. The newly completed (2007) annexe is available at £12/hr. A kitchen can also be hired if necessary. Cutteslowe Pavilion (Cutteslowe Park, north of the ring road, east of Banbury Road) is also under NOA's control and costs £10.50/hr. Some concessionary rates
may be obtained at the discretion of the management committee. There is wheelchair access to the main hall in Summertown and to the Cutteslowe Pavilion.

12-11pm, early mornings by request. Bar service available but not en suite,
as it were. Prices variable with length of time desired, but in the region
of £20 for an evening. Alas, as of December 2007 it's no longer free for public gigs.
- Clarendon Enterprise Centre, Clarendon House, 52 Cornmarket St.

£600pcm for one-man office, £835 two-man. Free broadband and kitchen facility in both places. Wheelchair

- Oxford Playhouse, Beaumont Street
- The theatre's Hospitality Room (faux-Georgian room with boardroom table. Capacity: 30 with theatre-style seating, 20 as boardroom, 35-40 standing) or Top Room (light attic studio with dance floor -
